Today's manufacturing requires complicated precision parts be produced in a limited time frame. Using three-dimensional CAD software, we speed up the manufacturing process by reducing the time required to get from print (model) to first chip. Whether customers provide us with 3D models or we generate models from a print, having a three-dimensional representation ensures accurate programming of equipment and reduces errors before resources are committed to expensive material. In three dimensions, machining and welding fixtures are designed and evaluated before production begins, decreasing manufacturing risks. If required, models allow creation of prints for use on the shop floor or inspection, or to provide to our customers and vendors. Large scale plotters allow printing of full scale part representations, and are an essential visual aid when trying to "see the big picture".
