Space Shuttle Fuel Line Fairing This fairing protected a fuel line on the main shuttle tank and is built from aluminum "Hi-Form", forged to shape by eighteen hits in a drop-hammer forge. The inspection requirements included customer source and government inspection. As with all flight hardware, the documentation requirements are strict and our systems and people managed the process.

Space Shuttle SRB External Tank Upper Attach Strut Assembly The Space Shuttle SRB External Tank Upper Strut Assembly is comprised of a series of Inconel 718 precision machined parts using EDM and CNC processes. The assembly attaches the solid rocket boosters to the external fuel tank. This is manned flight, Program Critical Hardware, requiring intensive quality systems.

International Space Station Truss System The truss segments of the International Space Station were machined from solid aluminum. There were hundreds of individual details furnished over a six month period.
